Occupational Health

Your workforce's health is your business's foundation.

OSHA 29 CFR 1910.151 requires employers to ensure the ready availability of medical personnel for advice and consultation. Docera makes that requirement manageable — and turns compliance into a competitive advantage.

What occupational health means for your business

Occupational health isn't just about treating injuries after they happen. It's about building systems that prevent them, detect problems early, and ensure your team has access to the medical guidance they need. For small and mid-size businesses, that often means partnering with an expert who can stand in as your occupational health function — without the overhead of a full in-house program.

29 CFR 1910.151

Medical Services & First Aid

Employers must ensure the ready availability of medical personnel for advice and consultation on matters of plant health. In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital near the workplace, a person trained in first aid must be available.

29 CFR 1910.1020

Access to Employee Exposure & Medical Records

Employers must preserve and provide access to employee medical and exposure records. Records must be retained for the duration of employment plus 30 years.

29 CFR 1904

Recordkeeping & Reporting

Employers with 10 or more employees must maintain OSHA 300 logs of work-related injuries and illnesses, and submit annual summaries. Certain severe injuries require immediate reporting.

We evaluate your current first aid capabilities, identify gaps, and build a plan to ensure you have trained personnel and appropriate supplies on-site at all times.

Return-to-Work Programs

We design modified duty and return-to-work protocols that get injured employees back on the job safely — reducing workers' compensation costs and maintaining productivity.

Employee Health Screenings

We coordinate baseline and periodic health screenings appropriate to your industry and hazard profile — from hearing conservation to respiratory protection to general wellness.

Occupational medicine compliance

The medical compliance programs your organization is required to maintain.

OSHA's medical standards apply regardless of company size. Most small and mid-size businesses lack the in-house expertise to build and maintain compliant programs — and the consequences of non-compliance extend well beyond fines. Docera provides the occupational health expertise to close that gap.
