Workplace Innovation
Modernize how your business runs — with people at the center.
Two disciplines. One integrated approach. Docera helps organizations harness technology to transform their digital workplace and redesign the processes that drive them — built around how people actually work.
Technology & Digital Workplace Transformation
The use of technology to modernize how your business runs — improving safety culture, compliance efficiency, and employee experience across your organization. Docera helps you identify, implement, and embed the right digital tools for your workforce.
Human-Centered Process Improvement (Human-CPI™)
Traditional engineering process improvement methodologies — Lean, Six Sigma, TQM — were built for manufacturing floors. They don't translate well to service environments where the product is a human interaction. Docera's Human-CPI™ methodology was designed specifically for that gap.
Technology & Digital Workplace Transformation
Modernize how your business runs — with technology built around your people.
Digital transformation isn't about deploying software. It's about using technology to change how work actually gets done — improving safety culture, compliance efficiency, and employee experience in ways that last. Docera helps small and mid-size businesses identify the right tools, implement them thoughtfully, and embed them into daily operations.
Safety culture
Digital tools that make safety reporting, incident tracking, and compliance documentation easier for frontline employees — reducing friction and increasing participation.
Compliance efficiency
Streamlined systems for managing OSHA recordkeeping, medical surveillance scheduling, and regulatory documentation — so compliance is a workflow, not a scramble.
Employee experience
Technology that reduces administrative burden, improves communication, and gives employees better access to the information and tools they need to do their jobs well.
Digital Readiness Assessment
We evaluate your current technology stack, workflows, and digital maturity — identifying gaps, redundancies, and the highest-leverage opportunities for improvement.
Workplace Technology Strategy
We develop a prioritized roadmap for digital workplace transformation — aligned to your operational goals, workforce capabilities, and compliance requirements.
Safety & Compliance Technology Implementation
We help you select and implement digital tools for safety reporting, incident management, OSHA recordkeeping, and occupational health program administration.
Change Management & Adoption Support
Technology only delivers value when people use it. We support implementation with change management, training, and the behavioral strategies that drive sustained adoption.
Human-Centered Process Improvement (Human-CPI™)
Process improvement built for people — not production lines.
Traditional process improvement methodologies — Lean Six Sigma, TQM, Six Sigma DMAIC — were developed in manufacturing environments where the process inputs and outputs are physical, measurable, and largely controllable. In customer service environments, the primary input is a human being with a problem, and the primary output is a human interaction. The assumptions that make Lean work on a factory floor break down when applied to a contact center, a service desk, or a patient intake process.
What makes Human-CPI™ different
Human-CPI™ is a methodology developed by Docera that integrates three disciplines that traditional process improvement leaves out:
Human-centered design
Processes are designed around the actual experience of the people who use them — both the employees delivering the service and the customers receiving it. Empathy mapping, journey mapping, and co-design replace top-down process mandates.
Behavioral economics
People don't behave like rational actors. Human-CPI™ incorporates behavioral science — choice architecture, cognitive load reduction, default-setting, and incentive alignment — to design processes that people actually follow, not just processes that look good on a flowchart.
Engineering process rigor
The analytical discipline of Lean, Six Sigma, and TQM still applies — waste identification, variation reduction, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement cycles. Human-CPI™ doesn't discard these tools; it reframes them for service environments.
Built for the customer service industry
Human-CPI™ was designed specifically for organizations where the work is relational — contact centers, healthcare service operations, professional services firms, and any environment where process performance is inseparable from human behavior. If your team has tried Lean or Six Sigma and found that the improvements didn't stick, or that the methodology didn't fit, Human-CPI™ was built for exactly that situation.
Process Discovery & Journey Mapping
We map your current-state service processes from the perspective of both employees and customers — identifying friction points, failure modes, and the behavioral drivers behind them.
Human-CPI™ Program Design
We design a tailored improvement program using the Human-CPI™ methodology — integrating human-centered design, behavioral economics, and process engineering into a coherent, implementable plan.
Behavioral Workflow Redesign
We redesign specific workflows to reduce cognitive load, align with natural behavioral patterns, and remove the friction that causes workarounds, errors, and inconsistent service delivery.
Implementation & Change Management
Process redesign only works if people adopt it. We support implementation with change management, frontline training, and the behavioral reinforcement strategies that make new processes stick.
